About Katoa
Whole
In Māori, Katoa means: all, total, awhole, everybody.
Everyone is different and it is important to discover and embrace your unique qualities and talents. Katoa supports children, teenagers and adults to believe in themselves, their path and their decisions.
Growth, strength & peace
The spiral shaped logo is a koru (Māori for ‘loop’) inspired by a new, unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace.
The circular shape of the koru helps to convey the idea of perpetual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin.
What does Katoa provide
Katoa Wellbeing offers holistic healing. The healing methods mainly used are Atua healing and sound therapy.
Depending on the specific needs, Katoa develops an integrated plan to support and increase the autonomy of the client, in the best possible way.
As humans we react physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually to life events, whether it’s a traumatic childhood, stressful work situation or abusive relationships.
Over a period of time, this may cause blockages in a person’s energy flow and lead to unhealthy repetitive patterns that might prevent us from living life to the full.
These patterns could include lack of self-esteem, courage, self-belief, not taking enough ‘me time’, an unhealthy relationship with food or alcohol, as well as anxiety and depression.
About Juliette
My name is Juliette Rietberg. Together with my husband and 2 sons we have made the adventurous leap to emigrate from the Netherlands to New Zealand.
Since I can remember there is a longing in me to go deeper into the experience of life and to discover what the natural qualities are in me as well as in other people.
While living in New Zealand I had the privilege to learn Atua Healing®. A beautiful non-invasive healing method - I combine with Sound Therapy - which provides a deepening and gentle way of healing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Another method I work with is Sound Therapy. The severing of certain blockages through the vibration of sound has been proved a very effective way to address both physical and mental problems.
